Wee.. I'm just getting active writing on this blog..
Adding links on the side bar, making new flickr for this blog as it is created especially for my crafting hobby. Do you like the theme? I do! It's so cute about the birdie.. and he/she likes coffee and tea too, same as me (^^,)*

I visited the theme designer, Gisele Jaquenod just now and found that she's holding a contest!!
Here's what you can win:

A custom blog theme/template for selfhosted Wordpress or Blogger (no Wordpress.com, sorry, it’s not possible).
With up to 15 credits in istockphoto images for the design (if you want more images, you’ll have to purchase them).
And up to 3 revisions of the blog sketch!
You will also get a 125 x 125 px banner for it!

There are some important guidelines to tho:

The design will include fonts that are free for commercial use (but you can choose to buy yourself a professional one, there’s some really cheap ones).
The theme/template will include a credit link in the footer.
The prize does not include plugin customization, or anything like that outside the theme itself. Uploading content to the blog is your responsability.

Happy New Year 2010!!
Can't believe it's the new year again.. time passes so quickly..
How's your new year's celebration? I went out with my fiancee & friends, we had barbecue.. it rains a bit, but it's still full of fun!! And end up waking up late this morning :p

This year.. I have things planned already..
Making some resolution for my flanneling hobby (^^,)*
These are my resolutions:

Make more flannel
Finish the projects I have planned before, such as; projects for 365, Valentine, Easter, Christmas, and New Year.. probably more as the day passes..
Not being lazy in cutting the fabrics
Have a success crafts online store.. planning to have one active this year
More and more flannel
Make a flannel book. This is a dream.. I really want to make a flannel book, like the Japanese ones.. they can always make their craft book looks so pretty.. I really wish I can.
Make my wedding flannel decoration (^^,)*

I hope I can achieve my resolutions..

Starting a 365 project..

I've been in love in making flannel dolls since I was in Junior High School..
I never thought that I'll be in to something involve sewing really.. I wasn't that good in making patterns for clothes during the extra lessons when I was at school, and the teacher always get mad at me because of that.. I messed my night gown and short.. haha..

But I enjoy it now.. I like making cute stuff and so pleased to see the faces who receives them.. tho, not yet in to making dresses and shorts, haha.. just flannel dolls and some others that doesn't involve measuring and making patterns of my own :p

I haven't use this hobby for earnings as some other crafters do.. I did sell some of my stuff, but it's not so much. I hope I'll be able to earn so.. I have a dream of writing a craft book :) *fingers crossed

And here I am now, wanting to start a 365 project. Seen the other crafters creation and I think this can be called as a way to keep us creative and be discipline. What I'm saying is that by having this project, we have to make at least one flannel creation on that day and post it in a blog, flickr, facebook or anything.. just make sure that you make one each day.. And also,if you have friends while doing this.. it'll double the fun and made you challenged even more.. hehe.. well, that's what I think.

I rarely make any these days.. so I hope by starting this project, it will make me more inspired.
I'll be starting to post my creations tomorrow.. January 1st, 2009!! Wouldn't it be great to start new things on the first day of the new year?! I hope better things will come.. (^^,)*
